Overview

The internship programs provide exchange visitors the opportunity to enhance their skills in their chosen career field through participation in a structured training program and to improve their knowledge of American techniques, methodologies, or expertise within their field of endeavor.

We works closely with the candidate and with the host companies to ensure that applicants are placed in an internship where they will gain the full benefit of the program, and that host companies provide a structured learning environment for applicants. The applicant, Host Company, and individual intern plans are closely monitored by Joyedu to maintain the highest standard of program possible

The Interns must specify which field of training they would like to pursue. Currently,we provide the following fields:

Process

 

1、Employer applies by completing a employer and job profile
2、We matches student with an available job position
3、Student and employer sign employment agreement
4、We approves agreement and issues DS form
5、Student obtains a J-1 visa
6、Student attends orientation
7、Student arrives at a work site
8、Student register with SEVIS
9、Student works until the end of his/her program date
10、Student has 30 days to travel before going back home

Requirements

An Intern is: a foreign national who either (1) is currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States or (2) graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to his/her exchange visitor program begin date, and who enters the United States to participate in a structured and guided work-based Internship Program in his/her specific academic field. Maximum length of stay is 12 months

Each candidatet must:

•Meet all eligibility criteria of the program.
•Have and show adequate financial support.
•Maintain adequate health insurance that includes repatriation and medical evacuation in compliance with the Exchange Visitor Program requirements.
•Contact us upon your arrival in the U.S.
•Keep our informed of your current address and phone number at all times. You must update with your new address within 72 hours if you move.
•Represent your country and with dignity and professionalism.
•Obtain the necessary endorsements from us before you travel outside the U.S. during your program.
•Participate ONLY at the host company that provided your DS-7002; you MAY NOT have an additional job or change your host company.
•Attend all orientation and evaluation sessions organized by us, your agent, or the host company.
•Know and abide by all Host Company, and government rules, policies, and regulations.
•Abide by all signed agreements with us and the host company.
•Understand that your host company is not your social director. You are responsible for your own social life, entertainment, and transportation.
•Contact your supervisor with any problems. If the problem continues, contact us. the grace period for the intended purposes only.
•Return home at the conclusion of your program in order to continue your studies and/or pursue a career.
•Understand that the program is not a way to obtain a permanent job in the U.S. or a way to immigrate.
